I too was trying to decide between those two. I think I decided on the V-tone GMX 1200H because it's all analog, not digital... and I really just wanted it for running my effects into, not to use the on board effects. I liked the independent knobs for each channel and the fact that they were footswtichable. I guess it's just up to you, do you want a digital amp that's got 125 user memory patches, or one that you can footswitch (though probably harder to program effects on the fly) digital or analog modeling? I don't have either of these amps though, so I couldn't tell you about quality, I'll let someone else answer that.
