I was watching The 40-year old Viirgin last night and was wonderfully suprised to hear they included the song "Sharin' the Night Together". I have always liked Dr. Hook and kind of feel they're a little underrated and under appreciated. They wrote some beautiful songs. I dunno that was just bothering me a little. What do you think? Who is your most underrated musicians?

I think Dr. Hook is underrated for sure. I can't think of any others at the moment. How was that movie?

It's an ok movie. My brother rated it a 4 out of 10...I rated it a 6.5. I guess your rating would be somewhere in between those. It's not like a masterpeice or anything but if you have 2 hours to waste on a rainy afternoon it wouldnt be a bad movie to watch.

I'll check it out. Speaking of waxed. Have you seen House Of Wax? It was pretty good. The only thing I didn't care for was the ending but the movie itself was cool.

That was awesome! I thought that was one of the best scenes in the whole film.

They were a 'novelty act', which pretty much guarantees a limited appeal, kinda like Wierd Al Yankovik. Even though they had some good players. Shel Silverstein did most of their writing. If you can find a copy of his solo album (vinyl) it'll blow you away! "Freakin' At The Freaker's Ball" is an underground classic.

...Who hasn't? :D
For life is quite absurd and death's the final word, You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.
