Not only did we see the best of the best back in the '70s, but we saw them for dirt cheap too. I recently came across a scrapbook I kept in those days of the concerts I attended: ticket stubs, reviews, photos. Hard to believe that I paid a mere $10 to see Pink Floyd. I remember seeing three and four shows a week, with three big acts on one bill. Good times.

I like 70's music, disco notwithstanding. ;)

I just spent the last half-hour watching a Time-Life infomercial for its "Pop Goes the 70's" CD collection. For pop, I think the decade was pretty impressive.

But, oh my! Those gosh-awful costumes and hairstyles!! What were they/we thinking!!! :D

FYI...if you want to bite on any Time-Life collection hit Bing or Google...those 'exclusive' offers can usually be beat by about 30%.
