Talking 'bout the big brands here; Martin, Gibson, Fender, Taylor, etc....

I no longer hold hope for guitars to appreciate in value unless they are already collectors items. If they are 30 or 40 years old that's one thing but looking for appreciation in newer built/bought guitars is looking for a long wait. As I posted in another sub-forum; too many guitars, too many discounts, too much depreciation of new guitars when they are carried out the door.

I like fine, expensive guitars and I like fine, inexpensive guitars. I just think their value is not going to go up unless I get a very good deal in the first place. And that's probably not gonna happen at music stores or pawn shops... ;)

Gibson.com is a good site. The songs lessons are free for about three months, you can also download them for about 4 bucks

I found "Shut Up n Play" on Utube. They do a pretty good job teaching a few songs they don't have here....Landslide is one of them , guess it's quite hard to get. I've been asking for it for about 3 years. Altho they have listed some of their greats....Landslide is such a good pickin song but would still like to see Lisa teach it. lindap

I'm also a lifetime member to unstoppable guitar system, Erich Andreas site. That guy is legit. I love his system he's a great teacher. This site offers a different method a more straight path, that also speaks to me but Erich's site is top notch. It's so beneficial having both and a teacher come in weekly. I'm blessed with all the opportunity I have. My goal is to take the berklee courses online in hopes to get a degree in guitar, so I will utilize every tool I can.
