Fill them with Bondo! Just kidding there. I've only been playing for about a month, but have finally advanced beyond the "I've got blisters on my fingers" stage to "I am painfully numb" in the fingertips.

I've talked with experienced guitarists who say the calluses eventually fade as the skin starts to adapt; apparently, the fingertips get thick like a brick. But, I think the ridges are here to stay; they'll just become more pliable as the skin adapts. For now, I'm just working through the pain. No bleeding anymore, so apparently making some gain.
