I've been in a bit of a rut musically as of late and haven't been very inspired. Somebody suggested I do something different to get the spark back.

So I pulled out a chord progression I have been toying with to see what I could do with it. This time around, I was hit with some inspiration.

So, how is this different? It's on acoustic guitar...I usually play electric. My lead playing is usually pentatonic. Well, that didn't work here...I tried :). I started with and arpeggio idea and branched out from there finding things that sounded nice. Being on acoustic forced me to keep my playing more basic. Turned out to be a very worthy exercise in that regard.
