So sorry about your injury, but good for you for keeping going with your music!

Definitely check out the fingerpicking course, and also, if it is not physically uncomfortable for you, you can strum (as in the Fundamentals Courses) with your thumb.

You might consider taking a look at Fred Kelly delrin picks, and get one large enough for your thumb. It replicates a nice pick-sounding thumbnail.
