My recommendation?
Accoustic: Can't go wrong with D'Addario EJ16 12-53s. Performance, playability & affordability.
For Classical (nylon) acoustic: D'Addario ProArte EJ45s. Same deal. EJ43s if you a beginner wanting even lighter tension.
I use both, among others.
Lots of alternative brands and models to chose from, but I suggest that exploration saved until later. D'Addario are an industry standard safe choice, and those mentioned are solid performing all rounders.
