Hi Jeff, happy to hear your wife is feeling more positive! Sounds like she is realistic and knows that there will be plenty of other humps on the journey, but it's really great that she's feeling more optimistic.

The only thing I'll add to your remarks about the beginner hump is that you can't put a timetable on that hump. Some people will get through it and start to really feel comfortable after 3 or 4 months, while others will take a lot longer. Frustratingly, I fall into the latter category! Nonetheless, I shall persevere. If I'm no better in 5 years than I am today, well, I'll still be working at it! Not gonna quit!


It takes as long as it takes unless you quit - then it takes forever and you will never get there.
