Brilliant thank you for that advice one last thing if you dont mind could you confirm if i'm reading this correct. You see where the notes are joined up where i have drew the arrow does that mean that i copy the previous note for example should i strum the guitar in this pattern.

If the first pattern is correct is the joining upside down smile of the two notes, always a repeat of the previous note?
