Lawrence,

Thank you for your Wild Thing lesson!

What are your preferred strumming patterns for the intro, chorus and verse?

For example, as I look at the sheet music for the intro, after the prebend, in the next measure I see two quarter notes followed by a semiquaver rest, 1/16 note and three 1/8 notes. As I listen to the Trogg's play, I'm not sure they are playing this way.

Thank you for your wisdom,

Kevin

Hey, Kevin! I don't think Lawrence contributes to the forum any more.

[p]I watched the play along & at about :27 you can see the right hand strumming pattern pretty clearly. It looks like he uses 2 downstrokes on the first occurance of each chord, then switches to alternate strums (2 or 3) for the 1/16th notes in between.

So. down, down, up-down-up, then down, down on the D chord. Then two quick down-up to get to the E chord.

It helps if you use the speed control & slow it down to 0.5 speed.

I'm not sure how this lines up against the Trogg's version. I remember that as being pretty loose! And as long as you can get the chords to happen in time with the other instruments, I think anyway you can make it happen is fine!

Hope that helps!
