Add a comment section under each lesson?

Hi there,

I learn lessons from GT on a regular basis and I often feel that the missing of comment section is a bit inconvienece for members. When people take the same lesson, they may have the same sort of questions and they have to go to the forum to ask for it. It may create many duplicated threads and increase instructors' workload.

Adding a comment section could be helpful as we can all discuss issues that is related to a specific lesson, and everyone will benefit from the question and response in one way or another.

Would it be possible to do it in the future? Thanks.

This is an interesting idea but we currently do not have plans to add this function. But will pass this to the team!

I think that is a great idea andrelin0913 providing comments can be currated and irrelevant ones removed.

This would be a fantastic feature.

Imagine having extended discussion on specific lessons and also expanding on what you can do with the information provided for that lesson.

this is a feature on other platform, not to name it,

I think it is a great feature, because it will unload the staff from GT answering multiple times the same questions / it is very interesting also for students to see the different questions asked because very often it is casting a new light to the topic even bringing some additional information that is always valuable...

I don't see any reason why not to include this feature if there is a demand from your students and to catch up with the competition

Hi there. As we stated earlier in this thread, we don't have plans to add this at the moment. Adding a comments section can possibly mean more spammers, griefers, etc. We'd like to keep the site safe from that type of stuff as much as possible. If/when we do add some type of commenting directly on a lesson page, we'll let you know!

I'm glad there is a discussion about this and that you're all trying to make the site even better. Rest assured, we appreciate the suggestions and we also appreciate your patience as we continue to add more features and updates!

Well, it seems to work on the 'other'platform and I have only seen helpful comments or quieries directly related to each lesson and as presumably only fully paid subscribers can access the lessons then only they can post comments?
