Hello, I've begun my journey of finger style or finger picking guitar. I can transition between chords pretty smoothly and easily now after playing for 6 months. As diving into fingerpicking, I want to know the struggles you guys faced. How long did it take you to learn and get a grasp of fingerpicking.?

Fingerpicking, like all techniques when learning guitar, takes a little bit of time, and it depends on you.
One of the best ways to learn fingerpicking like Travis picking, etc is to learn a song that uses the technique.
I've been playing guitar on and off for over a decade and there's still a ton more to learn about finger style!
