Whenever I start a lesson the volume is muted and so I need to click the volume icon in the video to get sound. This always means a few seconds are lost. Can I have videos start with the sound on as default?

Read this and follow the instructions.

You can find it again under from the Guitar Tricks main page under HELP (see TAB on extreme right of screen), then choose Technical Support from the options which present.

I have same issue in Safari on my Ipad. Seems site level settings in Safari does not have any option for audio and have not found anything more general either.

Hi, this problem has been there for more than a year at least. Is there any fix yet? I believe that is probably 10 mins work on the developers' side, but this would significantly improve the user experience. So an easy win :D

Hi guys. I'm new here and Was just browsing through issues and thought I would comment on this one. I find that if you use the "Next Video" button... this doesn't happen. Ofcourse I've only been scrolling through the super easy stuff. I'm sure once you hit the lessons that are a bit more difficult and you want to revisit for a while, this could get annoying. There certainly should be a preset.

Hey all! This setting is determined by your web browser, not Guitar Tricks. Please read this article for how to resolve this issue in your web browser settings.

Thanks for the help with the desktop versions of the browser. I am struggling with this same issue on an iPad and an iPhone using the mobile version of Chrome, Edge, and Safari. Has anyone figured out the workaround for the ios mess?

I have a Kindle Fire (using mobile Edge) and I do not have the issue, so its definitely buried somewhere in the ios settings. Any help would be appreciated.
