Adding Looper to DigiTech Element XP

I have a DigiTech Element XP Guitar Effect Processor. It does not have a Looper Pedal. Can I add a separate Looper Pedal to record/loop my guitar plus my effects?

I don't own that unit, but I can't see why not?

If you want to record the signal with effects, just add it downstream of the EP in the signal chain to record with effects as one would/I do with pedals/my pedalboard.
