Hello - I bought a new guitar back in April and just finally a month or so ago put on new strings, which I assume are pulling the bridge up off of the body. I'm assuming they are a slightly higher guage than what came with the guitar - .010-.046 as opposed to .009-.042.

I've tried tightening the spring screws inside the body (there are only three springs, I need to get two more), stretching the strings, and loosening the bridge screws three full turns and still the bridge is raised.

Any insight as to what is causing this to happen and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated. 25 years playing and I've never seen this.

Thanks.
