Hi Wildhorsehans,
I'm so glad you're learning guitar with us. I think you're going to have a lot of fun. As always, let us know if you have any questions!
Music has no idea how old any of us are - it just loves to be played!
Have fun!

Thought that I would pop on to the "New Old Dude" channel. Scooter here, 51 and also a fairly new Old Dude. I'm going to post a new thread on finishing Fundamentals 1 and buying my first electric guitar. Country/Jazz/Blues/Rock/Classical lover, in that order (for now).
I hope that you other Old Dudes are finding the course as awesome as I do. After strumming and not progressing during my youth (no formal training), I put the guitar down for 30 years. Just picked it up again and, within 6 weeks, Lisa M and GuitarTricks have opened up a whole new world and really make me feel like there is an organized course that allows me to learn EVERYTHING in due time, at a good pace.
Maybe we can start a New Old Dudes and Dudettes page ?
