Hello All,

I'm Sean from the US and I am 50+. Started playing guitar in high school, realized my lack of talent, and stopped. Now in retirement I am giving it a go again. I am hoping that actually trying to learn from people who know may be a better way to go. Cheers!

Welcome Sean! This is an awesome place to be and congrats on your retirement. I have been here for four months now and have really gained some great skills. I didn't have any musical experience but I'm sure your background (even with stopping playing) will help you out.

Hey Sean, welcome. I have the same story. Learned to play during late public school with a few lessons, messed with the guitar for a few years and then put it away due to a lack of talent. Now in retirement and the desire to re-learn in a structured environment struck me. So here I am about 2 months along this journey. I believe you will find a number of us older retired folks doing the same. Enjoy re-discovering the guitar. [br][br]
