The lesson is in the key of C, but is there any info on what these three note voicings would be if you changed the key? It’s not a moveable shape is it? These sound nice, so that’s why my interest. Thank you.

Great question! They are moveable as long as you keep them on the same strings. The only thing that would change is if you played a voicing crossing over the G & B strings. That's because all the strings are tuned a 4th (5 frets) apart, except for the the G & B strings, which are tuned a major 3rd (4 frets) apart.

The same shape means the intervals in the shape relative to each other are all the same on the same sets of strings.

So the C7 shape can be moved down 3 frets to play an A7, or up 2 frets to play a D7.

And if you want to move that shape to the A, G & B strings, you'd have to move the note of the B string up a fret to compensate for the G & B strings tuning.

If you put that 1 (root note) down on C on the a string, 3rd fret, then you would get a C7 with the same notes, but different strings.
