Hey Chinmay. [br][br]This is a problem for many players, you can definitely practice on getting better though. [br]There could be a number of reasons as to why your ring and pinky are 'in love' :D[br]All jokes aside, without knowing your play style and hand positioning, i cant judge.[br][br]Anyway, here is an attached video of a Youtuber who can be helpful to learn from. I, myself have enrolled in his Melodic Stretching Course and i must say that it has definitely helped me.[br]Make sure that you warm up your hands and wrist/ forearm before playing guitar, always![br][br]Goodluck :)[br][br]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AJFIh__DLA

Sorry you are having trouble with your fingers! I encourage you to try these warm up stretches.

And then these trill drills. Go slowly. You don't have to do them as quickly as I'm doing them. Just enough to get your fingers moving!

Also, if you are not yet, then I encourage you to start working on Guitar Fundamentals 1!

https://www.guitartricks.com/course.php?input=fundamentals1

Lisa course will give you a lot of beginner basics that you can use to start improving your finger strength & dexterity in the context of learning & playing simple chords & melodies.

Hope this helps! Please ask more if necessary & best of success!

That's a common... ehm, "issue". [br][br]Do your stretches. And - don't know if this is good advice or not (from professional standpoint) - I suggest building up your pinky. Since your pinky and ring finger are connected, by building up the pinky you will essentially be strengthening the muscles/ligaments on the pinky-side of your ring finger. [br][br]Maybe that will help you a bit.[br]Good luck!
