Simple chords

On the beginning lessons Lisa teaches us simple chords. Do you use them in songs or will they be replaced by the real chord eventually? I already know most of these chords and was wondering if there is a place for the simple chords in songs or should I just be using the real Aminor vs. the simplified one for example? I don't want to confuse my beginner fingers.

Lisa teaches you simplified chords at first to get your fingers used to the feeling of these chords. Lisa will eventually show you how to play the full chords with more fingers as you progress through the lessons.

Trust the process, yes, and if in your case you feel ready to hop ahead to the full chords, go for it. Everybody is different as to how much new stuff they can take on at once.
