I'm starting this song thread where beginners can help each other out by posting links to videos we find useful. Since beginners are often looking for songs that will let us practice specific skills, it would be helpful if posts include the chords involved and anything else somebody might need to know when deciding if it's something they want to check out.[br][br]Here are a couple of links to start things off. Each video has 10 songs (or parts of songs) that the guy simplified so that they can be played with the same three chords and easy strumming. (He presents a harder and easier strumming pattern for lots of them. Great for chord-change practice that feels fun, as well as exposure to lots of different strumming patterns.[br][br]10 GCD Songs[br]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi6CRi0SXLM[br]1. Louie Louie[br]2. Hi neil,

This is a great idea and I may use it as inspiration for a new playlist. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the bump! I was a little bummed that the thread didn't seem to be getting traction, but figured I'd just let it roll.

Thank you neil.sklar for creating this thread!

I am using the first link you provided for GCD and it has made a world of difference for me being able to transition between the three open chords! Thank you for posting. I plan to move on to the EAD video soon.
