My personal favorites are Victor Baker and Joe Driskill. Victor makes some incredible hollows and a wide variety on the side, Joe makes the Diablo.

You'll find quality instruments and their owners there including Thorn, Suhr, Anderson, Heatley, Lentz (teles), Melancon, Hamer, Mcnaught, Koll, and a few others.

I think it would be better if people talked about luthiers they've either dealt with in person or they closely know someone who has,coz otherwise if you went to googled guitar manufacturers, say, you'll come up with quite a few links.
Plus some luthiers who're really good might not even have a website, but they live and work out of somewhere, and if you can reach them one way or another,it would help.
I think.

The forum I put a link to is one I've frequented a couple months, some of them own a Driskill so you can ask them about it, and I learned about Victor by talking to someone who turned down a D'Angelico endorsement because they would rather play a Baker. That's where I'm coming from on this.
