Un-CAGE the Licks: The CAGED System Standard Licks

Description

Here's a lick modeled after the style of Jimmy Olander and any of the great pedal steel guitarists. We use the G form scale in the key of G major to play a lick that uses bending to get that pedal steel sound.



This lick will take a little patience. You have to keep your fourth finger still on the fretboard while the third finger bends. It's not the easiest lick to try but will become a staple of your lick repertoire when you've mastered it.
