Description

This lesson takes the concept of using steady scale tones within the context of a moving chord progression. Here we'll be in the key of E Minor and we'll be playing an arpeggiated pattern in the style of Metallica.

Use this as an example of what is possible when combining scales and chords. Don't let the idea of the scale weigh you down now because we'll be exploring scales more thoroughly in Rock Level 2.

Have fun and practice hard!
