In this lesson we will cover how to play the verse and bridge parts of "Living After Midnight." There are 3 verses in the song and the bridge is played once, taking us into the guitar solo.

- The verses in our song rotate between a consistent up beat rhythm that shifts to a palm muted chunk rhythm. Their are two guitar players on this song and you may hear some slight variety within this part but in this video, we will focus on the key parts that are apparent throughout the verse. Once we work through these rhythms, we will than play some simple barre chords that are held for a few bars. This will than lead into a sliding power chord riff that takes us back into the main part of the song.

- The bridge of our song rotates between a very common rhythmic movement to some familiar shapes from our verses. Our A major to A sus part begins our bridge with a nice half palm muted, half open rhythm with our right hand. This than transitions into our common palm muted rhythm from our G to Open E power chords from the verse. We will than transition into the guitar solo by sliding from a B to a D power chord, taking us out.
