Here we have a guitar turned up all the way and set to the bridge pickup. The tone settings on the guitar are at roughly 8. The amp is turned up to 6. The amps tone settings are Highs at apprx. 8 and Lows at apprx. 4.
You have to get the amp turned up to get this tone. It breaks up even more with natural overdrive if you turn up more than what we do here. I like this setting because you can still clean the guitar up if you turn the volume down.
This setup can be modified by adding an overdrive pedal, but I recommend using the pedal for only a slight boost or a bite. This is what great tone was built on. This is what pedals were designed to emulate!
I find it quite easy (so far!) to navigate, and found the "where do I start" to be very helpful! I'm getting there!!
I LOVE the forum, too. I've never been one to use forums, but the GT forum is full of great people and helpful information at ALL levels! Congrats on a WONDERFUL site!!Good job!
