7A: First Chorus

The main riff re-emerges in the chorus, replaying the 3rd cycle of the intro riffs. The riff in this variation should really be thought of as the main riff of the chorus, as it's consistently repeated as such in the choruses for the remainder of the tune. The 2nd cycle of the riff is cut short this time by going to the IV chord halfway through. Some vocal effects swell up and with a short hit on the C power chord, and you are back into the verse.

7B: Second Chorus Variation

Play the main chorus riff twice through, then the third time you will play the 1st cycle of the intro riff (complete with that tricky 3/8 bar), followed by a one bar riff that alternates between the C and G power chords, finally modulating to the IV minor breakdown section.
