Description
In this lesson we'll learn the verse. You'll notice its the same as guitar part two from the intro.
Play the intro riff of guitar part 2 eight times with palm muting, and then eight more times ringing out. Sixteen times total.
The first beat of every bar is not palm muted; then you palm mute the next three beats in 8th notes. This is a common technique in punk and power pop, having an open chord ring out followed by closing it down with palm mutes.
