The pre-chorus in "Swing, Swing" is the same both times, and features two sections. The first section is 8 bars long and features some muted power chords played by both guitarists, and the second half is 3 bars long playing open arpeggios and a cool lead-in rhythm. Here are some key points to help you with this great sounding section:

1. Guitars 1 and 2 both play the same palm muted eighth note rhythm for the first section. These chords are all barre chords, and the progression is G5-G5-E5-C4. Make sure to use downstrokes!

2. The second half starts with Guitar 1 playing a B minor barre chord on the A string with the open E string ringing, and then moves to the C(add2) voicing. Both of these chords are played as arpeggios one bar each during the first two bars. The last bar lets the C(add2) ring until the "and" of 3, after which is plays an eighth note rhythm leading to an open D chord on the "and" of 4. This leads us into the chorus.

3. Guitar 2 plays the same B minor chord, but adds in an eighth note rhythm on the "and" of 3 before strumming the same C(add 2) for a bar. In bar 3, the C(add2) is still ringing and than the same rhythm is played as Guitar 1 to transition into the chorus.
