Got the Life uses a 7-string tuned to D standard tuning with a Low A on the extra B string, so the strings are A, D, G, C, F, A, D.

For most of the song my EQ is set to about 75% in the bass, 40% in the mids, 100% in the treble, and the drive is at 75%.

These settings work out well with my Line 6 Vette II Amplifier using the Peavey 5150 MkII setting. If you're using a different amplifier you'll definitely want to adjust the setting to what works best for you.

The effects I'll be using are:

Pitch effect set + 1 octave.

Flanger with the depth to 75% and the speed at .18Hz

Tremolo with the depth at 30% and the speed at 15Hz

Chorus with the depth at 100% and the speed at 6.80 Hz (on this chorus setting I use a little compression too because its used for harmonics, and compression can help them ring out).
