The chorus section retains the vibe from the verse as the chord progression changes. Still using power chords, start with the D power chord at the 5th fret, down to C at the 3rd fret, then the G at the 3rd fret with the root on the low E string. Then back up to Bb at the 1st fret with the root on the A string.

Rhythmically, watch out for the pushes that happen on the C and Bb chords (once again, jumping to those chords on the "and" of 4). Interesting note here: this is one of the few Nirvana songs that keeps a constant dynamic all the way through instead of employing the all-familiar "quiet verses/loud choruses" grunge template.

Remember to lay out after the 2nd chorus and let the bass take it until the vocal comes back in!
