This is the gear I used when recording this song:

Guitars

Jackson Dinky - The riffs are played on the bridge pickup, and the solo on the neck pickup.
Bjarton Classical Guitar

Any guitar will do of course, but you will sound more metal with humbucker pickups than with single coil pickups.

If you want to play the solo note for note, you'll need 24 frets, but the rest of the song can be played with 22 frets.

A whammy bar for the reverse divebomb is recommended, but you can get a similar sound on a guitar with a fixed bridge if you use the tuners on the headstock.

Amps and Effects

I used a modeled Marshall amp for this song. The tone controls were set in the middle, and gain on 10.

To get a little bit more distortion I used a Tubescreamer type pedal in front of the amp.
