In this tutorial we will learn a rock style arrangement of Pachelbel's "Canon In D".

Johann Pachelbel was a Baroque composer that wrote this lovely piece in the late 1600's. The exact date of origin is unknown but it is thought to have been written around 1694.

Baroque music is kind of early pre-classical music. Because this piece was originally in Baroque style, it was written for a string group (violins, violas, cellos). But this piece has been transcribed for many other instruments. Because we are going to learn it in a rock guitar style, we'll call it "Baroque and Roll"!
