Wes Montgomery Style: Latin 2

Wes Montgomery often played in a trio where he was both the accompanist and the soloist. In this example, you see where he serves up a line that has a great lead lick followed by punchy, rhythmic chord hits. By playing this way you still hear the chords as well as lead lines. Be sure to have the chord progression memorized so you see and hear how the octave lines are created. Here is the chord progression used:
