In the first chorus we'll be playing 8th notes starting our octaves on F on the 8th and 10th frets. We'll be moving this same shape up a whole step to G on the "and" of 3, then down to an E on the "and" of 4. We'll playing these same rhythm anticipations throughout the phrase.

Then it's up from E to F, F down to D, then from C back up to D. Then we'll be playing E-D-C, along with band hits.

A variation is played later towards the end of the song, using higher octaves, playing A, C, and D twice, then A, C, and B twice.
