Description

Our third verse kicks up the dynamic with a palm muted, distorted electric guitar part. You will play this part during the entire verse. Here are some key points to help you through it:

1. The chord progression and length are the same as the first verse (8 bars), the only difference being how the rhythm is played.

2. Using palm muting, each chord is played with an eighth note rhythm; with the B minor chord carrying over each bar to keep our jagged rhythm feel. This time the B minor plays strictly eighth notes.

3. The progression ends with two sixteenth note hits on the downbeat of the last measure, with a pickup on the "and" of 3 to lead into the chorus (same feel and hits as the rest of the song).
