DADGAD: Adventures in Alternate Tuning

Description

Whenever you change the tuning of the strings of the guitar, the whole landscape changes as regards how chords are made. Also, the open tuning invites some unusual voicings and harmonies into the chords. I'll include chord charts for the D minor, C, and F chords used in this song, below. You'll see they are very different (and easier!) than their counterparts in standard tuning.

The "backdrop" strum patterns used in this version of Shady Grove are presented in my Acoustic Strumming Step-by-Step series of tutorials.
