Description

Right from the downbeat of the intro we strum the chord pattern that will also be used in the upcoming verses. When you go from Bbsus to Bb, keep the pick steadily strumming eighth notes, but switch the chord shape on the 'and' of beat 2 to get the rhythmic anticipation.

After the intro, this song has 3 sections that repeat in the same order 4 times. There is an 8-bar verse, a 7-bar chorus, and a piano interlude that is always 4 bars long except for the 3rd time, when it's only 2 bars long.

Keep a strong and steady groove but don't dig in too hard when playing the verse. We want to leave room to get a little louder on the chorus. When you're about to switch from Bb back to F it's ok to only strum a quarter note and omit the upstroke so you get a clean transition without any unwanted open string sounds.
