During both verses, guitar #2 plays a repeating melody that is played with a variety of different effects and in different registers. We have multiple guitars going on in both verses, so what I am going to cover is a way to cover all of those parts with just a single guitar while guitar #1 is playing our chords. Here are some key points to help you through it:

1. The melody is the same during each verse, playing C# for a beat and a half and then switching to a G#. The G# will ring for the remainder of the two bar phrase.

2. During the first half of the first verse, you will play this melody using our ring modulator. This creates an odd, dissonant sound. During the second half of the first verse, you will play that same melody but will then switch to a rotary/leslie simulator. This helps match the dynamic of the rest of the band.

3. During the second you will play that same melody an octave up, using our rotary effect. Once the first half ends after four bars, you will then switch back to the same register that we played during the first verse.
