Guitar 2 is playing very similar to what guitar 1 is doing in the chorus, but there are some differences. The first thing that'll be different, apart from the slight difference in tone, is that there's a little string scratching figure before the syncopated hit from open D to F.

The next thing is that guitar 2's rhythm fill is slightly different. First off, it's palm muted, but there are also a few rhythmic differences. Instead of hitting the C twice on top of the fill you only hit it once before the open D, which means you then hit the open D twice. Then you'll play it the same way up until the last open D, which you'll hit twice instead of once like guitar 1. When we double it up, there's a slight change in the rhythm on the open D - there's just a little pickup before you go back into the fill again.

The last thing that's different is going into the solo. You're going to end the chorus with some pretty vivid vibrato on G on the 10th fret of the A string.
