There are several guitars playing throughout this song, playing a variety of sounds and techniques. However, you may have noticed that Guitar #1 plays throughout the entire song. To play this song as a single guitar performance, simply follow along with Guitar #1 the entire time. I will do another play through of the song using just that guitar, switching between the different tones.

When you play the chorus, the tone is much more distorted and heavy then the rest of the song. There are multiple ways to approach how to switch between these two parts, pending on what you are playing with. If you have a distortion pedal, or a distortion channel on your amp; engage that setting and make it nice and loud for the chorus sections. When the chorus ends, you want to kick that pedal off and go back to your clean tone.

Using whatever gear you have at home, just switch between your clean and distorted tones that will sound great for a single guitar performance. Have fun and thanks for watching.
