A classic love song "Cupid" as made famous by Same Cooke exemplifies the light pop sound of the early 60s. This is a wonderful beginner song with its simple progression. Each section of the song has a different harmonic cadence, or conclusion, which really helps direct harmonic traffic throughout the song. We'll take a closer look at what that means as we get into each section.

We'll use 5 common chords, thinking about how to get around the fingerboard efficiently by using our left hand wisely. We'll review the basic strum and break it down into zones to create a more interesting rhythmic landscape. We're looking for a clean, steady rhythm guitar for this song.
