All you will need to play this song is an acoustic guitar and a slide. Today I am playing my Taylor 714CE- acoustic-steel string with a Dunlop 0.88 mm nylon flat pick. I find that the slightly lighter pick makes it easier to keep up the really fast strum pattern and makes for a nicer and more unified sound. I am using a small steel slide on my ring finger for the solo, which was originally played on a Dobro, or resonator guitar. I am recording direct from my Taylor through a Boss GS-10 desktop unit for a little reverb, EQ and compression. This unit offers some very practical controls and effects in a compact and portable unit!
