Harlem Shuffle

Description

Guitar 1 uses an R&B approach for the rhythm guitar. The tune starts out with a fanfare type intro using barre chords and tremolo strumming to set the vibe. Next, the band launches into the groove, and we lock in with some staccato R&B stabs on a G#m barre chord. There is also a cool full step slide into the chord every four bars that adds some movement.

There is also a half step modulation to an A7 barre chord that uses the same strumming approach. Locking into the groove is crucial here!
