Any acoustic guitar can be used to play this tune.

As for the electric guitars, I'm using a Stratocaster. For Guitar 1, the pickup is set on the bridge pickup. For Guitar 2, position 2 on the five way switch is used for a phasey, bell like tone. For Guitar 4, position 4 on the five way switch is used for a bassier, smoother tone for the slide licks.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set up the amp for a clean sound just on the edge of breakup. Set the Drive to 45%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.

Guitar 1 uses a fuzz pedal to make those single note riffs distinctive.

Add some reverb to all guitars for depth.

On the acoustic, I'm using a 12-56 gage with heavy pick to dig right into those strums. On the electric, I'm using 10-46 gage with a heavy pick as well as my fingers to play the slide licks.

Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 45% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 65%
Fender Blender Fuzz Pedal (Guitar 1):
Sustain: 60% Tone: 55% Blend: 50% Wet/Dry: 55%
Spring Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 35%
