The original recording features a hollowbody electric guitar with the bridge pickup selected for a full, clear tone, but any electric guitar with a bridge pickup can be used. Also, any acoustic guitar can be used.

As far as amps go, any Fender style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set the amp for a gritty crunch sound with emphasized treble. Set the Drive to 65%, Bass to 45%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 80%, and Presence to 80%.

Kick in an echo effect for the second lead break.

Add a slight amount reverb to both guitars for depth.

I’m using 10-46 gage with a heavy pick to dig into these complex parts. For the acoustic, I’m using my fingers and a 11-52 string gage.

Here are the settings I used:

Fender Deluxe Model:
Drive: 25% Bass: 45% Mid: 55% Treb: 60% Presence: 60%
Echo (2nd guitar solo):
TBD
Chamber Reverb:
WetDryMIX: 15%
