This song features a thick, modern high-gain crunch sound. I’m using a super-strat style guitar set for the bridge pickup for a clear and powerful tone. That said, this song can be played with any electric guitar.
A Modern High-Gain tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tones in this tune. Start out by setting the Preamp Gain to 75%, Bass to 50%, Mids to 55%, and the Treble and Presence to around 60%.
For the clean guitar tone, roll down your volume control or adjust the preamp gain down to 20%.
I’m using a 10-46 string guage. I’m also using a heavy pick to dig into the strums and chunky riffing.
