Description

Now let's talk through the form and the arrangement of the whole song.

We've already talked about the first part. We have our intro, our 1st verse, 1st chorus, then we have 2nd verse, 2nd chorus and after the 2nd chorus we go to the solo, which is all very classic when it comes to song forms.

After the solo we have another verse, which is verse number 3, followed by the third chorus, and this is where something cool happens. After the last phrase “Maybe the last time, I don't know”, right when we land on our A chord, we strum the chord and let it ring for two full bars. Both in the acoustic and electric part.

After that we basically repeat the intro, where the electric guitar plays the riff once by itself, then the acoustic guitar comes in with the “footballs” and then the groove picks up, just like it does in the intro.

After that they jam on this same part until the track fades. Live you'd eventually look at each other and end the song on a big E chord.
