Mike will show you the one electric guitar layer in this tune that uses a classic 60s
massive fuzz tone to play loud and proud rhythms and riffs throughout.
The song opens with a blasting heavy riff based on a pentatonic minor that carries into the verse. The chorus provides some contrast by changing to the relative major with a more melodic sound. The solo is played by orchestral strings, but we'll adapt it for the guitar.
In the following lessons, we'll talk about power chords and barre chords, powerful syncopated strumming, and some simple lead guitar melodic ideas. We are in the key of E minor, with a 4/4 time signature, at a tempo of 130 BPM.
